The Valfre is a Regional Affordable Housing Bond project located in Forest Grove. This vibrant new community transforms the site of a former concrete plant, offering 36 units of affordable housing for low income families, with 30 two- and three-bedroom units. Four of the units are set aside to provide Permanent Supportive Housing with wrap around services and case management.

Site development includes five residential buildings, one community building, large community lawn, children’s play area, plaza, garden beds, off-street vehicle and bike parking, trash/recycling enclosure, and stormwater mitigations. Outside spaces for gathering, playing, or quiet contemplation are sheltered by the residential buildings that line the perimeter of the site, giving residents a private and protected space to enjoy the outdoors and connect with their neighbors.

This project is a partnership between DCM Communities LLC (as site developer) the Housing Authority of Washington County, Cascade Management, and service providers Bienestar and Sequoia Mental Health. Bienestar will collaborate with the Housing Authority of Washington County to provide on-site services to the families and individuals who live at this development. Sequoia Mental Health Services, Inc. provides services to tenants with licensed medical practitioners offering a range of behavioral health services for adults and children.
